Annual Benefit Supports Health Programs For Those in Need At Home and Abroad

The Oyster Roast fundraiser to support Montero Medical Missions is set for November 16th from 5:30-8:30pm at the Springhill Suites. 1446 Crossways Blvd., in Chesapeake. With live music, barbeque and oysters, the fun annual gathering is one of the primary fundraisers to benefit programs providing care to local veterans and life-changing healthcare overseas.
Tickets for the event are $45 per person which includes dinner and two drink tickets if purchased before November 7th. After that date the price in $50 per person at the door.

Montero Medical Missions is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Virginia, providing sustainable health services to underserved communities internationally and the community of veterans here at home.
The organization’s founder and lead physician, Dr. Juan Montero, is a board certified surgeon and the founder of the Chesapeake Care Free Clinic who has been recognized by the American College of Surgeons, the Association of American Medical Colleges and the Medical Society of Virginia, among others, for his philanthropic and international healthcare outreach efforts.
